Where to send a notice

Send copyright notices to [email protected]. Please use a subject line that clearly identifies the request, such as “Copyright Notice” or “Removal Request.”

What your notice should include

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
3. The exact URL or page location of the material you want reviewed or removed.
4. Your contact information, including a working email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for the rights holder.

Helpful supporting detail

The fastest notices usually include screenshots, a short explanation of the ownership claim, and the exact material that needs review. Broad or vague notices take longer to verify.

What happens after we receive a notice

We will review the report, evaluate the identified material, and take appropriate action when warranted. That may include removing content, updating a page, requesting more information, or declining the request if the notice is incomplete or unsupported.

Counterposition and follow-up

If a notice leads to content removal and a dispute follows, we may request additional detail from the reporting party or from the affected party before deciding how the fan-site page should proceed.
